Join Our Dynamic Team as a Production Planner at GEA! Are you ready to be a part of a global leader in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors? GEA is seeking a talented Production Planner to join our team. Is responsible for planning and coordination of repair orders in our network of Repair Workshops.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
  • Create, schedule and administer repair orders in the ERP system
  • Plan and order required materials
  • Review MRP lists and release stock orders for spare parts as necessary
  • Report completed activities in the ERP system
  • Maintain repair schedule and disseminate to stakeholders
  • Monitor and record workshop KPI's
  • Support lean activities within the workshop
  • Other duties as assigned

Your profile and qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 year experience working as a production or materials planner
  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Reading, interpreting and writing reports
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, dependable and able to work with little direction
  • Adaptable to changing work demands
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • 2 or 4 year college degree in operations management, supply chain or industrial engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Sit, stand, bend, reach, walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
  • May be required to work extended hours which may include weekend and holidays
  • Regularly exposed to manufacturing areas that may require personal protective equipment
  • Regularly exposed to a manufacturing work environment that may be dirty and noisy.
